Picturing America School Collaboration Projects grants  are designed to  help teachers incorporate Picturing America images  into the teaching of core  subjects. Information about <a href=\"http:\/\/picturingamerica.neh.gov\/\">Picturing  America<\/a>,  including the <a href=\"http:\/\/picturingamerica.neh.gov\/downloads\/pdfs\/Resource_Guide\/PA_TeachersResource.pdf\">Picturing   America Teachers Resource Book<\/a>, can be found by visiting the  Picturing  America website.<\/div>\n<div>The images in Picturing America reflect a variety of media spanning  several centuries, ranging from the work of early American Indian  artists to painters such as Mary Cassatt and Jacob Lawrence, from  photographers such as Dorothea Lange to architects such as Frank Lloyd  Wright. These images will help students better understand America\u2019s  diverse people and places and connect them to our nation\u2019s travails and  triumphs.
