Open Access Week is a global celebration to raise awareness of open access in scholarship and research. OA Week is an invaluable chance to connect the global momentum toward open sharing with the advancement of policy changes on the local level. Open Access Week is an opportunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they’ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helping to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research. Open Access Week is a key opportunity for all members of the community to take action to keep this momentum moving forward.
In celebration of Open Access Week, Purdue University Libraries Scholarly Publishing Division, incorporating Purdue University Press and Scholarly Publishing Services, will share throughout the week on social media ways in which we support research and engage with the scholarly community through open access. Our open access resources are made available on Purdue e-Pubs, the open access text repository and publishing platform supported by the Purdue University Libraries. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or globally via #OAWeek.
