Featured Database: Gale Directory Library

Parrish Library’s Featured Database will give you a very brief introduction to the basic features of one of our specialized subscription databases. This time we’re featuring Gale Directory Library, brought to you by Cengage.

Focus

Gale Directory Library includes information from a variety of premier directories that can be used to locate over 450,000 international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local nonprofit membership organizations in all fields, including IRS data on U.S. 501(c) nonprofit organizations.

Access

The List of Business Databases is the alphabetical list of the databases specially selected for those in a business program of study. Access the databases off-campus with your Purdue Career Account.

Why Should I Know About This?

Gale Directory Library can be used to monitor association trends; identify related associations; networking and making professional contracts; marketing to associations, their members and markets.
