Featured Databases: Scopus

Parrish Library’s Featured Databases series will give you a very brief introduction to the basic features of one of Purdue Libraries’ subscription resources. This edition will feature Scopus, brought to you by Elsevier, a subsidiary of RELX PLC.

Focus

Scopus is one of the largest academic databases in the world and covers over 94 million scholarly citations on all topics, with strengths in STEM and the social sciences.

Access

The List of Business Databases is an alphabetical list of databases filtered to those most applicable to business, entrepreneurship, and hospitality and tourism management programs of study.

  • scite is a smart citation index that displays the context of citations and classifies their intent using deep learning.
  • Web of Science provides access to scholarly literature in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities and examine proceedings of international conferences, symposia, seminars, colloquia, workshops, and conventions.
