Working under the guidance of the Libraries\u2019 Information Literacy Specialist, the ILID will lead efforts to collaborate with and guide faculty and instructors in the development of instructional designs for <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'\">teaching learners to use information in embedded ways that support the attainment of instructional outcomes.\u00a0 IMPACT offers an opportunity for the Libraries to promote student-centered learning, and to enhance Purdue students\u2019 information literacy. The ILID will participate on interdepartmental teams that collaborate with faculty and instructors on course development projects in areas such as instructional design, evaluation of instructional outcomes, and curriculum development. The ILID will develop instructional material designed to promote best practices for addressing information literacy in the undergraduate classroom.\u00a0 The ILID will also collaborate with faculty or instructors in the development of classroom research projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'\">Reporting to the Information Literacy Specialist who coordinates the Libraries\u2019 involvement in IMPACT, the ILIDwill provide regular reports on the progress and status of their work with faculty and instructors. This position will be funded for a period of three years from the date of hire. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'\">Qualifications<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">\n<p class=\"Default\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';color:
