Rey Junco, is associate professor of library science and first year experience\/emerging technology specialist at Purdue University.\u00a0 He is also\u00a0a returning fellow to the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a social media scholar, Junco investigates the impact of social technologies on college students. His primary research interest is using quantitative methods to analyze the effects of social media on youth psychosocial development, engagement, and learning. His research has also focused on informing best practices in using social technologies to enhance learning outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n
