Welcome to Database of the Week.\u00a0 <\/span>This week features EconLit which is an index, but you may want instead to try EconLit FullText\u2026\u00a0 we currently have a trial to the full text database at<\/span>:<\/span><\/b> This Week\u2019s Featured Database:\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>EconLit, <\/span><\/i>from the American Economic Association.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n Find it: <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>www.lib.purdue.edu\/parrish<\/span><\/a><\/span>, under the column headed Collections, click on List of Business Databases. <\/span><\/p>\n Description\/focus:<\/span><\/b> EconLit <\/i>is an index of more than 30 years of economics literature from around the world.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n Start with this hint: <\/span><\/b>Note that <\/b>EconLit<\/i>\u00a0is an index, not a full text database.\u00a0 This is not a barrier to the full text of any hits resulting from a search, however, because of the <\/span>Find it at Purdue<\/span><\/b> feature available in our article databases.\u00a0 The interface for EconLit<\/i>\u00a0 is simple to use, whether you use the basic or advanced search.\u00a0 When you find a title that applies to your topic, click on <\/span>Find it at Purdue<\/span><\/b> and the tool will do a search in other Purdue databases.\u00a0 <\/span>Click <\/span>here <\/span><\/a><\/span>to see the basics of searching EconLit. <\/span><\/p>\n Why you should know this database:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 Because of its specialized subject coverage, any program that includes aspects of economics can include a list of resources developed with the use of EconLit<\/i>\u00a0.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n How this will help students:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>Students will find EconLit<\/i>\u00a0 easy to navigate and will appreciate the options for refining results by year and source type. <\/span><\/p>\n Cost:<\/b> No cost. <\/span>EconLit<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span> is an Inspire database provided by the state of Indiana.\u00a0 For more information contact <\/span>mdugan@purdue.edu<\/span><\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n ——————————<\/span><\/p>\n Database of the Week comes to you from the Roland G.
