\"Mykytiuk<\/a>Larry Mykytiuk<\/b>, associate professor of Library Science and History Librarian, <\/b>has, in addition, accepted the offer of a courtesy appointment as associate professor in the Department of History. This appointment was made effective March 11th<\/sup> by the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts,\u00a0 as recommended by the faculty in the Department of History.<\/p>\n

Courtesy appointments do not involve any instructional or financial commitments by the appointee or the department, nor do they confer any voting rights or other benefits in the \u201cnew\u201d department. Instead, they recognize mutually beneficial relationships between faculty members in two different departments and facilitate connections across disciplines that can enhance scholarship and academic development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
